How to: Search and replace text in WordPad.
Solution:
Click where the search is to begin. Select the 'Edit' menu and select 'Replace...'. Type the text to search for in the 'Find what' box. Type the replacement text in the 'Replace with' box. Click 'Find Next'. Click 'Replace'.
NOTE: This solution assumes that WordPad is opened.
1) Click where the search is to begin.
NOTE: Press CTRL+HOME to go to the beginning of the document.
2) Select the 'Edit' menu and select 'Replace...'. (The 'Replace' dialog box appears.)
3) Type the text to search for in the 'Find what' box.
4) Type the replacement text in the 'Replace with' box.
5) Click 'Find Next'.
6) Click 'Replace'.
7) (Optional) Do one of the following:
a) Repeat steps 5) and 6) to search for and replace additional occurrences of the text one at a time.
b) Click 'Replace All' to search for and replace all occurrences of the text without further prompting.
8) Click 'OK' and click 'Close'.
